Terms of Service & Membership Agreement
Last Updated: 16 January 2026
Entity Name: Sim Racing India
Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka
1. Introduction and Scope
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the simulation facilities, equipment, and services provided by Sim Racing India ("We", "Us", "The Center") and membership to the exclusive SimClub.
By booking a session, entering the premises, or purchasing a membership, you ("The Member", "The Customer", "You") agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Risk Warning & Liability Waiver
Sim Racing involves physical activity and the use of high-force industrial motors.
2.1. Physical Risk Acknowledgement
You acknowledge that professional-grade simulator hardware (specifically Direct Drive Wheel Bases and Motion Platforms) generates significant force feedback (torque).
- Torque Warning: The steering wheels can snap with forces exceeding 10Nm-20Nm. Failure to hold the wheel correctly may result in wrist, finger, or arm injuries.
- Motion Sickness: Immersion in large screens or VR may cause motion sickness, dizziness, or nausea.
- Epilepsy Warning: The facility uses fast-moving visuals and flashing lights which may trigger seizures in photosensitive individuals.
2.2. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian Law:
- You voluntarily assume all risks associated with using our equipment.
- You release Sim Racing India from liability for any personal injury, muscle strain, or medical emergency arising from the use of the simulators, except in cases of proven gross negligence by the Center.
3. Equipment Use & Damage Policy
3.1. Proper Use
- Emergency Stop: You agree to locate the "Emergency Stop" button before starting your session.
- Force Feedback Settings: You must not alter the Force Feedback (FFB) software settings without staff supervision. Setting torque beyond your physical capability is prohibited.
- Handling: "Rage quitting," hitting the steering wheel, or stomping aggressively on pedals out of frustration is strictly prohibited.
3.2. Damage Liability
While normal wear and tear is expected, you are financially liable for damage caused by misuse, negligence, or aggression.
- If equipment is damaged due to your intentional misuse (e.g., smashing a screen, stripping threads by forcing adjustments), you agree to pay the full replacement cost plus a service fee.
